Who knew the most difficult part of forming a company is not forming a company and running it, it is actually defining its personality. We think we can easily compare it to first the 9 months of nauseating feeling, nervousness, caution and extra care. Then popping it. Naming it. And then molding it into someone everyone will love. Not to forget tantrums, the wakeful nights, first steps, monstrous behavior, the teen years... yowza!

Who are you Sophie? asked the philosophy teacher and that simple question shook Sophie's world. Who are we? That is a question that may always remain mysterious. Like a mirage or the horizon you think you can reach it, the answer but it always seems to elude you.

That is the question we are best trying to answer as far as RSVP Events is concerned. And here we thought playing God would be fun.

Although, to our credit we have ideated, mulled, argued, written and locked the question that gave birth to philosophy. Next step, making a presentation and delivering it to potential clients. When you work for yourself the deadline had better be etched in stone or resistance will takeover and then...

Game Over.

Today begins with this song playing in the background of the reality show called Our Life:

Life is a test, and I confess
I like this mess I've made so far
Grade on a curve and you'll observe
I'm right below the horizon

Yes, no, maybe, I don't know
Can you repeat the question?

You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big

Our first official day as self-employers begins at T2f where we are currently operating from. the feelings somewhat surreal, we could fit in Dali's painting like a hand in a glove. This is what we had been waiting for, this day; the reason we quit our jobs with nothing in hand but hope and perseverance and we know, for somewhere in the back of our mind lurks nervousness which threatens to fight a thorough battle, that it would be an uphill task but the thought of the view form that hilltop will give us the strength and courage to win.

We have been told that when you run your own business vacations become rare and holidays rarer still... meh, we'll see. But yes, we know the challenge, we recognize it and are looking at it right in the eye it's like the bull that exhales smoke and the matador who risks to entertain -
olé!

Shall we break a coconut too?
